Product Stickiness
Product Stickiness measures how often users return to a product, indicating the product's ability to engage users regularly. It's calculated using the ratio of Daily Active Users (DAU) to Monthly Active Users (MAU), showing the average daily engagement relative to the monthly user base.
HOW TO MEASURE
Calculate Product Stickiness by dividing the number of DAU by the number of MAU and expressing the result as a percentage.
HOW TO IMPROVE
Enhanced User Experience: Improve the interface and functionality to make the product more intuitive and enjoyable.
Regular Updates: Introduce new features, content, or improvements regularly to keep the product fresh and engaging.
User Incentives: Implement loyalty programs, challenges, or rewards to encourage regular usage.
Community Building: Foster a community around the product to increase user investment and frequency of use.
FORMULA
Product Stickiness = ( DAU / MAU ) × 100%
EXAMPLE
If a mobile app has 10,000 daily active users and 40,000 monthly active users, the Product Stickiness would be: Product Stickiness=(10,000/40,000)×100%=25%. This indicates that, on average, 25% of the monthly user base engages with the app daily.
DEPARTMENT USAGE

Marketing: To understand user behavior and develop campaigns that encourage daily use.
