Our marketplace primarily served two main user groups: celebrities or content creators seeking interactions or merchandise, and fans desiring engagements. Additionally, we had a secondary audience utilizing a white-labeled version of our software, which facilitated global celebrity sharing and offered their unique experiences.

The product evolved beyond videos to encompass direct messaging on chat or social media, duets, live calls, commercial promotions, and merchandise, accessible via mobile and web applications for both creators and fans. However, despite its superior features, the project faced challenges with funding and talent acquisition, ultimately leading to the sale of the product to a company in another country where it found success.

  • Stronger Communication on Vision: Being more vocal about the company’s potential direction could have helped solve marketing and sales issues, positioning us to compete more effectively.

  • Product Strength vs. Talent Acquisition: Despite having a superior product, the inability to attract talent was the biggest challenge. Greater emphasis on talent acquisition should have been a primary focus to drive growth and success.
